I have been meaning to post for sometime now, but have been able to find the time to do so. Nate and I went to NC about a month ago for a week and a half. We had tons of fun seeing Grandmommy, Auntie Autumn, Uncle Ian, Mimi, and Daddypa. We even got to see Max and Nancy and their 4 kids. I did not take too many pictures :( But I will post them as soon as I can get them off of my camera and onto my computer (my Mac Book does not have an S drive... sad day). About a two weeks or so after getting home from North Carolina (home from home) I found an ad in the paper looking for an apartment manager. I called on Monday, we had an interview on Tuesday, we were offered the position of Thursday, we completed our training on Friday and we moved into our OWN apartment on Saturday. It is now Thursday and we are almost all unpacked (minus a few things that we have left behind at Carol's that we will pick up this week so that I can clean our space out Carol's) and I am exhausted! We are SO thankful to finally be back in our own place, we did not anticipate the sense of relief that we got as we closed the door behind Dan's mother and step-father after they helped us move our stuff in and we realized that we were back on our own. Carol said it best when she said that you have to live in someone else's house as a married couple until you fully appreciate your own place. We are so thankful that Carol and Don allowed us to stay with them for the past 9 months! Nate is loving our new apartment. I think that the main reason that he likes is so much is that he is "free to move about the cabin".
For those of you who do not know already, my little sister Autumn is now 18 weeks pregnant. Autumn and Ian found out today that they are expecting a little princess! We wish them the best and thank them for giving Nate (ybv7 ub7... that was Nate typing) his first "Thomas" cousin! I am not sure if they are announcing the name that they have chosen for the special baby girl, but as soon as I know I am thrilled to announce it... I LOVE IT!
