ve the equipment to puree his food! However, I am pleased to announce that for probably about a week now I have been making all of Nate's food! Dan and I bought a Sunbeam food processor that had good reviews (other than the o-ring giving out fairly quickly... but that can be bought at any auto shop) for making baby food! As soon as I had my processor I was pureeing away! So far I have made Nate green beans, peas, corn, butternut squash, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, plums, nectarines, pears, and I think one or two other things! After pureeing the newest batch of food, I pour the food into ice cube trays and stick them in the freezer until frozen. Then I just pop the like food blocks out, stick them in a freezer bag, label them and back into the freezer they go. His food last 3 months in the freezer! I love being able to just pop out a couple of cubes from the freezer (one cube = a little over an ounce), zap them in the microwave and feed my little guy some yummy food! It is nice to know what is in his food and knowing that it is food that I would eat myself (with some salt)!!!
