We have had another rough week, but instead of complaining about it I am going to tell you what we are thankful for!
Nate has been sick for the past week and a half or so. He has had diarrhea with mucous in it along with rashes on his arms, legs, face, and torso. We have taken him to Primary's twice and had his poo cultured and his pee pee cultured. Thankfully, Nate does not have C-diff or E-coli! The Dr. told us to start treating him with a probiotic... so we started that today. I am thankful that despite not knowing what is going on with my baby, he does not have C-diff or E-coli, ick!
Since buying our Beamer (which Dan has named Susan... odd) we have had trouble with it running... go figure. It has broken down on Dan twice now, both times requiring him to have it towed. Today it broke down in the middle of the highway. Dan immediately called the police in order to have them come and help him get the car off the road safely. Soon after calling 911 he called me to let me know what was going on. The next phone call I got was a panicked Dan. While waiting for the Police to show up another car swerved to miss Dan and bounced off the barrier and crashed. Lucky for us, Dan was smart and stayed in the car while waiting for the cops to come (until the lady crashed and he ran out to her) and Dan was not hit by the car. We are also thankful that she did not hit our car either! She was taken to the ER because her arm hurt, but was other wise OK. Dan was pretty shaken up about it all, understandably so. I am so thankful that Daniel is OK and was not injured. I do not know what I would do if I lost him! I am also thankful that Nate was not with him, oh that would have scared us so bad!
I have to go for now... Nate is crawling all over my lap and chest! PS- Nate is sitting up really well these days!

Wow, what a week! I hope Nate feels better soon, those little guys bounce back quickly. Good luck with the car, I hate car problems just about more than anything (not as much as I hate sick babies though).
aww you guys, i'm so sorry! that is so horrible that little nate has been sick! i really hope it's nothing serious and that he gets over it quickly. how scary about dan. car problems really are the worst. no one expects their car to have troubles so you never plan on it.
well i don't know if you read my reply comment on our blog but i would be happy to take pics of nate! so nice of you to ask and you certainly don't have to pay...i just mess around and do this for fun.
you guys are in our prayers!
